The new general space at the Hofje van Hoogelande was created to give the residents of this Hofje a place where they can meet each other, celebrate their birthday or organize other activities. A multifunctional space was created with a kitchen, enough tables and chairs to be able to seat everyone. All in a cozy homely atmosphere.
The fireplace of this house was pushed away in a corner. This made the lay out of the room difficult to work with. By placing the fireplace forward and making it a centre piece of the room, the interior is much easier to work around it. The result is a cosy room with a logical lay-out.
The residents of this house were very much in for a new look for their ground floor. Since they are in a rented house they could not paint and rebuild the entire room. The solution was sought in new furniture in fresh colors to light up the room. The starting point of the choice of colors is the turquoise cabinet. Here you can clearly see how just a new sofa and rug can uplift your room.
The dining table is extendable with a nifty system that disappears completely under the table. This makes it compact but still very large when needed, without having to carry any boards.
Here the assignment was to modernize the room. The taste of the residents is sober, however they wanted something different and were also ready for some more modern colours and fixtures.
After a Feng Shui analysis of the house, it emerged that these color combinations fit best with this house and its residents. The result is entirely to their taste, stylish, calm and yet exciting because of the color combination in the curtains.
This bungalow from the 70s was completely in the old state when the residents bought it. They asked for assistance with the design of the house and especially with new layout of bedrooms and playrooms. It has become a wonderful family home that has been re-designed with Feng Shui and a color pallet that has been adjusted accordingly.
The residents have been able to carry out the advice themselves with the advice report as a guideline.
For the residents of this house I made a Feng Shui advice. They have bought this house in the old state and their starting point was to make here a wonderful new place that feels good, but will also support them in their work and their daily life.
They have done the implementation of the advice themselves with my report as a manual.
The owners of this house wanted to change their house when the children left for good. Their wish was to remodel and connect the kitchen with the dining room, but not just like that. The sitting room was also an issue as they never sat there.
With some small adjustments in the color palette for the house and a Feng Shui based plan for the renovation we ensured that this is now a house that fits them well and where they can again enjoy the beautiful sitting room.
